Effective July 1st 2011 the new E-Scrap Law went into effect changing what items will be accepted at the Berkeley County Landfill. In accordance with the law, landfills will no longer accept for disposal loads containing the following covered devices.
Computers (include desktop, laptop and tablet computers)
Computer Monitors
Televisions
Printers
Under no circumstances will Waste Industries be able to accept loads containing these items or any parts of these items.
